John Wellwood - Managing Director

John Wellwood is a graduate from Napier University in Edinburgh. His training has been in Manufacturing Management, Manufacturing improvement, Lean Manufacturing, MRPII, JIT, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Strategic development, TQM, supply chain management, business process reengineering and business diagnostic and improvement.

Consultant - John Wellwood

He has worked internationally for companies such as Kodak, KPMG and Invensys as a business consultant for over 12 years. He has worked at all levels of these companies from corporate board level to shop floor. He has also worked as an operations director for UVG an automotive company where he was responsible for all aspects of the business.

For the last 5 years he has provided advise and support to SME's and multi national companies working as a business coach, advisor and trainer working for Strategic Business Partners (UK) Ltd a company he founded. Throughout his career he has worked in Europe, USA, Brazil and Australia on almost any business issue possible.

John now specialises in lean manufacturing, business development and people development through providing consultancy support and training. He is deeply involved in developing small and medium sized businesses through improving every aspect of their business.

 

Fiona Beaumont - Senior Consultant

Fiona has over 12 years experience as a business consultant in organisations across many industry sectors. She is an innovative and creative Change Management and Business Transformation Consultant and Executive Coach with a large diversity of experience. She has a wide range of skills gained within the context of business transformation in a number of high profile industry sectors, both public and private. She works with all levels of an organisation, from board level of global corporations, to ground floor in small business

Consultant - Fiona Beaumont

Recent assignments have included an appointment as the Global Business Change Manager for Cable and Wireless. In this role she Created CWG's external Organisation Change Management consulting practice, including it's offerings and capabilities. She built the global OC team to support CWG business transformation, established CWG Change Management community of practice, facilitated the development and rollout of CWG Change Management framework, piloted the Rosabeth Moss Kanter Change Toolkit for e initiatives, established Stakeholder Management Approach for Business Transformation, facilitated Organisation Design process to create Global Business Transformation organisation and designed the Operations communications strategy and had a key role in implementing it.

Fiona also recently developed and facilitated the vision and strategic direction to £1m turnover Chartered Design Consultancy and provided ongoing consultancy and coaching to it's Managing Director and providing analysis for a renowned global management consultancy to enable them to select the building and location for their new global headquarters.

Fiona is vastly experienced as a Change Management Consultant, working with such as Cable and Wireless, KPN (Royal Dutch Telecom), International Tennis Federation, Sainsburys, Immigration and Nationality Directorate (Government body), Perot Systems.

Current clients include Renault-Nissan, Skai Associates, Renwicks Group, Max Systems, Quicke's Cheese, among others.

Fiona is a Founder Member of the International Association of Certified Coaches. She has coached management teams at all levels of organisations, from the President of an international sports organisation and the head of a major Home Office Directorate to the Service and Sales Managers in car dealerships.

Nick Greville - Senior Consultant

Nick Greville is a graduate Manufacturing Systems Engineer from the University of Bath, UK. His training extends to many areas of manufacturing, including Quality Assurance, Total Productive Maintenance, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing including 5S and Value Stream Mapping, Bottleneck identification and elimination, Health & Safety including Risk Assessments, Team Building and Leading, and Benchmarking.

Consultant - Nick Greville

He has worked for many international companies from shop floor to senior management. These companies include Siemens, Renishaw, Rexam and Amcor

Nick has a passion for UK manufacturing and has developed the ability to bring about change within an organisation. He is confident about communicating at all levels and has a record of achieving real improvements where his proactive approach of actively involving employees has resulted in significant cost-savings, including within very 'traditional' environments.

Nick has recently decided to share his enthusiasm for manufacturing with companies who find themselves competing with increasing customer demands, competition from overseas and other external influences.

He now specialises in offering a practical Lean Manufacturing advice service to those companies with a desire to change. He can offer a step-by-step process for introducing robust lean techniques within an organisation and also a 'Kaizen Blitz' approach to specific bottleneck areas.

Paul Wright - Senior Consultant

With 25 years' experience of process and quality management followed by senior training and development roles in SME's and multi-nationals, Paul's energy and enthusiasm for rooting out waste and embedding Continuous Improvement has saved his clients millions of pounds.

Consultant - Paul Wright

In addition to his experience with Lean and Kaizen Paul has worked in Europe, America and Mexico helping organisations to maximise the potential of their people through outstanding management and team development programs.

His unique blend of commercial awareness and pragmatic approach to organisational or personal change underpins his passion for supporting organisations to create world class performance through their own people.

Paul's focus in change management, lean enterprise programmes, training and culture change is underpinned by a driving belief in the potential of people.

He is MD of The Improvement Company, a change and improvement consultancy, is a coach for a number of Directors and senior managers and has had articles published on a range of subjects from change management to process improvement.

Paul is a graduate of Bournemouth University with a degree in Operations Management.

Apart from his family, Paul's other passion is music and he can occasionally be found playing an old Les Paul guitar in rock bands in Oxfordshire.

Chris Taylor - Senior Consultant

Chris Taylor has an MA degree in Industrial Design engineering. He is a Six Sigma trained Black Belt, with experience in Process Analysis, Process Mapping, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Work Out, Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Project Management, Business Improvement, Business Planning, Design Engineering, Product Design and Business Development at SME level.

Consultant - Chris Taylor

He has worked for Blue Chip Organisations such as Marconi and GE at senior management level for over 10 years and has more recently been involved with project managing successful business start ups in both Design and Manufacturing sectors.

Chris specialises in supporting new businesses with their NPD programmes delivering support in, project management, process improvement, 6 sigma methodologies, supply chain, product design, design for manufacture and business development.
